Course Overview
This course covers the basics for KS3 German specifications. It helps students lay strong foundations in vocabulary, grammar, and communication.
It is a one-year course and does not require any prior knowledge of German.
For an Upper Key Stage 3 student (ages 13 to 14), this one-year course should be enough to proceed to GCSE studies.
Course Method
Class materials are provided beforehand and worked through during the lesson.
Students receive weekly homework, along with suggested additional reading to strengthen their language skills. Depending on the ability of the student, this homework and independent study should take about 60 to 90 minutes a week.
The first term lays the foundations for a more focused, grammatical approach in Terms 2 and 3.
The sessions are designed to be interactive, encouraging active participation in a supportive environment.
Course Details
Term 3 comprises 10 weekly lessons. Each lesson lasts one hour.
This PX Classroom is held on Wednesdays at 3pm (London time zone), starting from Wednesday, 15th April 2026. There will be no lessons on 22nd April or 27th May. The last lesson is due to be on 1st July 2026.
