Course Overview
This course covers the basics for KS3 German specifications.
It is a one-year course and does not require any prior knowledge of German.
This course lays the groundwork for another year of study before commencing study for GCSE German.
Course Method
Class materials are provided beforehand and worked through during the lessons.
Students receive weekly homework, along with suggested additional reading to strengthen their language skills. Depending on the ability of the student, this homework and independent study should take about 60 to 90 minutes a week.
The first term lays the foundations for a more focused, grammatical approach in Terms 2 and 3.
The sessions are designed to be interactive, encouraging active participation in a supportive environment.
Course Details
Term 1 comprises 14 weekly lessons. Each lesson lasts one hour.
This PX Classroom is held on Thursdays at 2pm (London time zone), starting from Thursday, 3rd September 2026. There will be no lesson on 22nd October due to the half-term break. The last lesson is due to be on 10th December 2026.
