IGCSE Spanish (2028 exam) – Term 6 (April 2028)

Course Overview
This course covers the content for Cambridge (CAIE) specifications. It is a two-year course and assumes KS3-level or equivalent knowledge (please check with the Teacher before enrolling). It is the ideal preparation for the PX A-Level Spanish Classroom.
Course Method
Lessons are interactive in order to develop the four core skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Class notes are distributed in advance (when required) and are filled in during the class.
Homework is set from the current CAIE coursebook which must be procured in advance (Cambridge IGCSE Spanish Student Book Fourth Edition, Hodder Education; ISBN 9781036019778).
Homework should take the average student 90 to 120 minutes to complete but also includes optional assignments for extra practice.
Homework consists of both self-marked and teacher-marked assignments. Students will be expected to record and learn topic-based vocabulary each week.
Course Details
Term 6 comprises TBC twice-weekly lessons, covering revision and exam readiness. Each lesson lasts 60 minutes.
This PX Classroom is held on Wednesdays at 10.30am and Fridays at 9am (London time zone), starting from Wednesday, 19th April 2028. The last lesson is due to be on TBC 2028 due to the exams. These dates are still to be confirmed.
